Normally I do not give endorsements or recommend suppliers no matter how well they may have performed. However in this situation I decided to make an exception because it could help others realize the wonderful results we have achieved and possibly eliminate or reduce the tremendous stress associated with working with mortgage company’s and lenders.

This past March my son introduced us to Marc Cooper with Keeping My Property.
After listing to his story and realizing it could be a very reasonable alternative compared to loosing our various properties, we decided to give Marc the opportunity to try and help us.

My wife and I suffer a tremendous financial loss in October of 2008. We were cheated (a Ponzi scheme) out of all of retirement income and equity. We were left with our Social Security (I am 72 – my wife is 70), a very expensive vacation property and several investment (rental properties). All the properties had adjustable – negative amortization loans that we knew would put us upside down in the near future. We conditioned ourselves that we would lose everything because we could not afford to keep them.

This past February we decided to stop making the mortgage payments on all the properties. There were two duplexes, one single family dwelling and two – four plexes all rental properties and our second home which we placed into a week-end rental program in an attempt to offset some of the expenses.

As of today we have attained four modifications – on both the duplexes, the single family residents and one of the four plexes. In all situations the properties now produce a positive cash flow and we will be able to keep the properties for as long as we like.
We are very optimistic we will experience the same results on our other properties.

Without Mark and his associates with Keeping My Property this would never of happened. They are the best. Very professional, they keep us informed ever step of the way and are always available if needed.

I just wanted to thank you so much for being a life saver! To be honest, I was initially warned by Pete that your ways are unconventional and requires some trust (your ways are unconventional and we need to pay before hand even though there is a very fair refund clause)to utilize your services. You have been so successful in helping him out as well as his boss with their loan modification situation that he confidently recommended you. I even did research on your site to see the other testimonials and saw the one from the same mortgage servicer I have.

I am SO glad to have followed his advice and put my entire trust in you. You have been very persistent in making sure there was continuous communication and check-ins with my servicer (American Home Mortgage Servicing Inc.). I really would like to thank Marc for all the work he had done for me on my mortgage modification. My mortgage is with GMAC, the type of loan was an ARM. In August of 2009 my interest rate was reaching 8.26%. This could not happen at a worse time, and I would not be able to the $3800.00 payment not including taxes and insurance. Marc stepped in took control of the situation and worked out a package with GMAC to cut the interest rate to 1/2, and now my payments are $2600.00 to include taxes and insurance. If Marc had not stepped in, we would most likely have lost our home. I had tried to do my own modification, but I was unsuccessful with my efforts to communicate with GMAC. Now Marc is working with GMAC to reduce the principal to a value that will be comparable with the neighborhood.
